LeBron and the Lakers Can't Afford a Slow Start

There may have been some fireworks in LeBron James' regular season debut with the Los Angeles Lakers but things didn't go as planned for the LeBron and his new team.

A couple of tomahawk dunks to open the Lakers' game against the Portland Trail Blazers had Lakers fans having flash backs to the Showtime Lakers of the past. But the fast start to the game didn't hold up for LeBron and the Lakers who ultimately fell to the Trail Blazers 128-119.

Today on the Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker broke down the lackluster start to the LeBron James era in Los Angeles and discussed why a slow start to the season could have dire consequences up and down the organizations.
