Blame The Players, Not Dave Roberts

Blame The Players, Not Dave Roberts

Saturday night the Los Angeles Dodgers gave up a 4-0 lead to the Boston Red Sox in Game 4 of the World Series, eventually losing the game 9-6.

Prior to this game, the Dodgers were 54-0 this season when leading by 4+ runs. Additionally, in the last 10 season, teams leading by 4+ runs in the World Series are 31-2...the two losses: Dodgers in Game 5 of the 2017 World Series and the Dodgers on Saturday Night in Game 4 of the 2018 World Series.

Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts pulled pitcher Rich Hill after 6.1 innings for Ryan Madson and received a great deal of criticism for the move. Jonas Knox explains why you need to place the blame on the players and not Dave Roberts.
