Kevin Byard's Star Celebration is Proof that the Cowboys Have Checked Out

Week 9 of the NFL became the unofficial "Throwback Celebrations Weekend" after Michael Thomas imitated the famous Joe Horn cell phone celebration in the Saints' win against the Rams. Thus, it was only fitting that the Monday Night game saw a throwback of it's own, but not one in which the home crowd would look upon fondly. After intercepting a Dak Prescott pass in the endzone, Titans safety Kevin Byard sprinted to midfield to channel Terrell Owens as he presented himself upon the beloved Dallas star. Byard couldn't help but remark after the game that he was surprised to receive no retaliation from the home squad. Jason Smith and Mike Harmon see this as a prime example of how the Dallas Cowboys have completely checked out halfway through the season as the team toils in mediocrity and faces an inevitable personnel shakeup.
