Missouri AD Says School Was Punished for Being Honest

A former tutor at the school violated NCAA ‘ethical conduct, academic misconduct, and academic extra benefit rules ‘when she allegedly completed academic work for 12 student athletes a part of an online course in a span dating from the summer of 2015 to the spring of 2016.

On January 31, 2019 the NCAA infractions committee hit Missouri’s athletic program with a handful of penalties to the football, baseball, and softball teams, but the one that really stood out was the one-year postseason ban for the football team, who just landed Clemson transfer quarterback Kelly Bryant and was expected to be a dark horse in the SEC East division.
