Even though Colin Cowherd fully acknowledges that Mike Trout is the best player in baseball, as he’s off to an absolutely torrid start to the season, Colin says it’s hard not to also notice that Trout’s Angels currently sit in last place of the AL West.

Trout’s 13-year, $425 million deal was the largest contract ever received in the history of baseball and Colin has been a critic of it ever since. Colin wonders why a flawed team with personnel issues all over the field would splurge over 25% of their payroll on one player.
