Clay Stirs Up NHL Fans: Fighting Should Be Banned

Clay Travis was having a discussion about the NHL playoffs with Eddie Garcia when the topic of fights in hockey came up. In a scary Game 3 brawl on Monday night, the Capitals' future Hall of Famer Alex Ovechkin landed three straight shots to the head of the Hurricanes' 19 year old wonderboy Andrei Svechnikov and the Carolina forward then hit his head on the ice. Svechnikov had to be helped to the locker room by teammates, appeared to have a concussion and didn't return.

Clay says that hockey scuffles are going to result in a player being seriously injured or even killed from hitting his head on the ice and wants to know why fighting is allowed in hockey but not the NBA and NFL. After some pushback from his crew, Clay tells you why he thinks fights in the NHL are still being allowed in 2019.
