Luke Walton Shouldn't Lose His Job From a Battle of 'He Said, She Said'

Listen to Clay Travis discuss the sexual assault allegations levied against newly hired Sacramento Kings head coach Luke Walton, as the fiery accusations have largely flown under the radar in the shadow of the NBA Playoffs.

Kelli Tennant, a former Lakers reporter, claims that she was meeting up with Walton in his Santa Monica hotel room while Walton was an assistant coach with the Warriors in 2014 to drop off a copy of a book she was currently writing that Walton would write the foreword of.

According to Tennant, Walton at some point got on top of her and pinned her to a bed in the hotel room. And after Tenant told him to stop Walton allegedly laughed in her face and continued groping her.

Tenant says she didn’t file a police report at the time because she was ‘scared’ and said ‘I felt coming forward would jeopardize every aspect of my life.'

Walton and legal his team have vehemently denied the non-criminal charges, instead calling Tenant an ‘opportunist’ and not a ‘victim’ in any way.

Check out the audio below as Clay, a former attorney in the U.S. Virgin Islands, discusses what the Sacramento Kings should do at this point in time with evidence appearing to simply be her story versus his.
