Packers Fans Can Longer Blame Mike McCarthy, Defense on Aaron Rodgers' Woes

Listen to Colin Cowherd discuss the Green Bay Packers once again drafting defensive players in the first round of the NFL Draft, as the Packers took Michigan linebacker Rashan Gary no. 12 overall, and then traded back into the first round to take Maryland safety Darnell Savage Jr at no. 21.

Colin says Aaron Rodgers and the rest of his most loyal fanboys better have taken notice of the team continuing to fortify the defensive side of the ball as Colin says the tireless excuses for Rodgers’ failed seasons always come down to the team not having enough defense for him. Colin points out that the Packers literally draft defensive players EVERY YEAR, as Rodgers is the last offensive skill player the franchise has used a first round pick on, and says the Packers fans blaming Rodgers' failed seasons on the defense is asinine.

Check out the audio below as Colin says that there’s NO MORE EXCUSES for Aaron, with the ‘Mike McCarthy is a dope!’ and ‘We have no defense!’ sentiments firmly off the table.
