Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he always thought ‘THE PROCESS’ was a farce when it came to the Philadelphia 76ers franchise using nearly a half-decade of tanking to acquire the building blocks they needed to build a championship contender.
Sure, ‘The Process’ netted them Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, but Colin says the reason the 76ers were a major threat come postseason was because they traded for Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris. Colin also wonders why there’s this cute nickname attached to Embiid and Simmons when there’s no nickname for the Blazers drafting Damian Lillard & CJ McCollum or the Warriors drafting Steph Curry & Klay Thompson…That’s simply called GOOD DRAFTING and those teams were able to do it without completely cratering their franchise for a half-decade.
Check out the audio below as Colin argues why he never bought into this ridiculous strategy.
