Zion Williamson's Stepfather Says His Son is Excited to Play in New Orleans

Listen to Colin Cowherd react to the recent interview Zion Williamson’s stepfather gave that tamped down a lot of the theories surrounding the potential of his son refusing to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans after they won the NBA Draft Lottery Tuesday night.

Lee Anderson said his step son is actually excited to get down to New Orleans and ‘settle in’ to his new home. With any Zion trades likely off the table for now, Colin says the Pelicans should focus on re-uniting Zion with his former Duke teammate RJ Barrett in a trade involving Anthony Davis being shipped to New York for the number three pick.

Check out the audio below as Colin believes the move would suddenly turn the Pelicans into one of the league’s most interesting teams after the basketball world was originally in mourning that Zion didn’t go to the Knicks or Lakers.
