Lakers Acquire Anthony Davis, Unload Ball, Hart, Ingram, Three 1st Rounders

The Los Angeles Lakers finally know their future after the embattled franchise coming off one of the most humiliating seasons in franchise history finally acquired six-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA First Teamer Anthony Davis in a trade that had been speculated for months.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Lakers sent the Pelicans a package of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first rounds picks, including the no. 4 pick in this Thursday's NBA Draft.

A notable name that will remain with the Lakers is former Northwestern small forward Kyle Kuzma, who was believed to be the most coveted asset in LA's young core of players.

Vegas had just listed the Lakers as the favorites to win the 2020 NBA Finals, taking into account the impending deal.
