Colin Cowherd: LeBron James Would Have Never Left Kevin Durant's Warriors

Golden State Warriors v Los Angeles Lakers
Colin Cowherd: “LeBron would not have left the Warriors, NO WAY IN HELL. When LeBron left teams –– Cleveland, Miami, and then Cleveland –– they were appearing to be getting older and worse. Kevin Durant left two really good basketball teams in Oklahoma City and Golden State that were young and had years left to win championships. There’s no way LeBron would have left the Warriors. He has too great a sense of himself and too great a sense of history of the league to leave. You think LeBron would bail on Steph, Klay, and Draymond??”

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he doesn’t think LeBron James would have ever left the Golden State Warriors if he had been in Kevin Durant’s shoes, as the one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history was leveled overnight with the exodus of Durant to the Brooklyn Nets.

Colin says LeBron understands how NBA history works and how the legacies of players are immortalized, and says there is no way LeBron would have left two Hall of Fame talents the likes of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in the primes of their careers, with a tremendous chance to keep their run of championships going.

Check out the video below as Colin explains why LeBron knows exactly when it’s time to leave a franchise, and 2019 Golden State wouldn’t have been it.
