Colin Cowherd: “Are you in Dallas willing to accept Ezekiel Elliott’s immaturity and his offseason maintenance? Because it’s officially now a part of him. Part of Zeke is the court dates, the judicial nonsense, the Vegas video, the meetings with Roger Goodell. My new name for him is T-M-Zeke.”
Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he doesn’t think the Dallas Cowboys should sign superstar running back Ezekiel Elliott to a lucrative extension, as the two-time All-Pro is reportedly planning on holding out of Cowboys training camp two years out from his free agency.
Colin has long said Cowboys should TRADE Zeke and distance themselves from the controversial 24-year-old, who has clearly established an off-field reputation loaded with extra curriculars.
With the nightmare running back contracts of David Johnson and Todd Gurley now looking like two of the worst contracts in NFL history, Colin says it’s hard to picture a team on the brink like the Cowboys with one of the best young cores in the league breaking the bank for a workhorse running back who has already proven he’s going to be 'T-M-Zeke' during the offseason.
Check out the audio below as Colin says the Cowboys need to distance themselves from the star running back.
