Doug Gottlieb Says Earl Thomas is an 'Ungrateful Jerk'

Seattle Seahawks v Arizona Cardinals
Earl Thomas: "I don't regret my decision. If my teammates felt like it was toward them, I regret that part. But I don't regret doing that to Pete. I think my time just ran out. Pete and the front office didn't value me like they used to, and I just talked to Coach Carroll, and he was saying how he was trying to get me in the plans of getting a new contract. But I got hurt the next week. I think I hurt myself too by my actions getting carted off the field. We got to walk with each other the rest of our lives because we won a Super Bowl together. But they'll love you one minute and then hate you the next. That was our relationship."
Doug Gottlieb: “Just so we're aware, they paid you every penny of your contract... Remember, he didn't come to training camp because he wanted to hold out until the Seahawks either renegotiated his contract or trade him to another team. Missed training camp and preseason and just days prior to week 1, he showed up, and he was activated on the roster. He got hurt in week 4 and still got his WHOLE deal, but he thinks they didn't VALUE HIM?...WE'RE RAISING THE MOST UNGRATEFUL GROUP OF ATHLETES I'VE EVER POSSIBLY SEEN!.. THIS JERK WALKS INTO THE COWBOYS LOCKER ROOM WEARING A SEAHAWKS JERSEY, AND HE'S GOT A YEAR LEFT ON HIS DEAL SAYING 'COME AND GET ME!' AND YOU'RE MAD AT THEM!!!?? HOW DARE YOU!! I WOULD HAVE CUT YOU’RE A**.”

Listen to Doug Gottlieb react to former Seattle Seahawks All-Pro safety Earl Thomas saying he doesn’t regret giving the middle finger to Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll last season while Thomas was being carted off the field with an injury.

Thomas would tear his ACL in what would effectively end his career in Seattle and take out his frustrations on the Super Bowl winning coach, who Thomas said was 'not being honest.'

Thomas had at one point held out of training camp and the preseason demanding a new contract but finally balked at the idea of missing any regular season game checks and played in Week 1.

Thomas would later sign a four-year, $55 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens this past March.

Check out the audio below as Gottlieb rants about how much of an ungrateful jerk Thomas sounded like during Thomas' recent interview with ESPN's Josina Anderson.
