Antonio Brown Has Reportedly Gone 'Radio Silent' With the Raiders

Oakland Raiders v Pittsburgh Steelers

UPDATE: According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Antonio Brown will not play football again unless he's allowed to use his old helmet.

Schefter goes on to report:

"new helmet that the rules mandate he wears protrudes out and interferes with his vision as he tries to catch football."

Chase Williams: “10 practices into training camp and Antonio Brown has already gone ‘radio silent’ with the Raiders. They have zero clue where he is or what the progress of the foot injury is.”

WPXI sports reporter and news anchor Chase Williams is reporting that superstar All-Pro wide out Antonio Brown is currently accounted for at Raiders training camp, just days after one of the most bizarre ‘injuries’ in NFL history revealed Brown is dealing with frostbitten feet after using a cryotherapy machine.

The Oakland Raiders have not publicly addressed the situation as of 4:00 pm ET/1:00 pm PT, but Williams alleges the team has ‘zero clue’ where Brown currently is or the what the progress is of a foot injury that will likely keep him out the entire preseason.

The 31-year-old, seven-time Pro Bowler and 5-time All-Pro who twice led the league in receiving (2014, 2017) is widely considered the NFL’s best wide receiver, and came over to the Raiders from the Pittsburgh Steelers on March 10th, 2019, when the Steelers traded Brown to the Raiders for a third and fifth round pick in the last NFL Draft (2019).

The Raiders will open the season at home against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, September 9th.
