Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. posted a snapchat picture on his official account of NBA commissioner Adam Silver giving a powerpoint presentation to players at a recent summit, but didn't realize he had actually made a terrible mistake.
Porter titled the picture ‘Lunch Yet?’, referring to the 21-year-old having to suffer through another clichéd meeting with token NBA executives, but he failed to realize that the photo he uploaded on snapchat contained a Powerpoint slide with Adam Silver’s actual email address, office phone number, and even his cell phone number.
Porter quickly removed the post after realizing his laughably negligent mistake, but the screenshot of Porter’s snap quickly went viral, with Twitter users finding joy in spreading Silver’s digits out to the rest of the country.
Fans quickly began uploading screenshots of their messages to Silver, with one fan even begging Silver to bring an NBA franchise back to Seattle, and another demanding to know why he ‘forced’ former Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie out of the NBA.
Some fans were even claiming that Silver had responded to their messages.
The 21-year-old Porter has not appeared in an NBA game yet, as he missed the entire 2018/2019 season after undergoing back surgery in what would have been his rookie season.
