Last week Colin Cowherd debuted his new weekly college football segment that will run at the end of his show every Thursday called the ‘MARQUEE THREE’ where Colin gives his three best college football bets for the upcoming week.

For the opening week of college football Colin focused on Oregon at Auburn, Northwestern at Stanford, and Fresno State at USC, with Colin going 1-2.

In Week Two (9/7) Colin is hunting after LSU at Texas, San Diego State at UCLA, and Texas A&M at Clemson. (Check out the full video segment at the bottom of the page)

(6) LSU at (9) Texas (Spread:LSU -6.5)

“I think LSU wins but I’m taking Texas with the points. LSU has got better personnel than Texas RIGHT NOW. Texas is still a year away from winning a National Championship. I’m taking LSU to win the game 27 to 24 but that’s why too many points for Tom Herman as the underdog. He’s 13-2-1 in his last 15 games as underdog, they went 2-0 against the SEC and 3 of their 4 losses last year were by five points or fewer.”

San Diego State at UCLA(Spread: UCLA -7.5)

"I'm taking UCLA and swallowing the points. San Diego St. does not beat Pac-12 teams and UCLA is 21-0-1 versus San Diego State all-time. UCLA played Cincinnati last week without four offensive starters who were all hurt. I'm taking the Bruins 30-20 to win and cover."

(12 Texas A&M) at (1) Clemson(Spread: Clemson -17.5)

"I like Clemson to win but I'm taking Texas A&M with the 17.5 points. This game was incredibly close last year and A&M had more yards, first downs, and dominated time of possession. Texas A&M has won five straight under Jimbo Fisher. Clemson has the superstar quarterback and better offensive talent, but if you give me these SEC teams in these big out-of-conference matchups and you're going to have a very competitive game."

"This game was really interesting last year. I like Clemson to win but I'm taking the 17.5 points with Texas A&M. These teams played last year and A&M had more yards, almost double the first downs, and dominated time of possession. The Aggies have won five s
