Colin Cowherd: “I wouldn’t have gotten Antonio Brown. I’m not into needy people and I’m not into needy wide receivers. I don’t think Odell Beckham Jr. is going to be in Cleveland very long, I was never a TO guy, an Ocho guy, or an AB guy. If I’m the Raiders, I’m OUT. Tyrell Williams is a good wide receiver, they’ve upgraded their offensive line, Derek Carr is healthy, and they’ve made upgrades to their defense; this was not a playoff team anyway. Sometimes in life you have to own your mistakes. Even Bill Belichick has made mistakes; just own it and move off it.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)
Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why the Oakland Raiders need to pull the band-off with their time with wide receiver Antonio Brown after ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport spent Thursday dropping bombs about AB’s physical altercation with Raiders general manager Mike Mayock.
Both Schefter and Rapoport reported the team may attempt to release Brown due to the fallout of an Instagram story AB made on Wednesday that revealed an actual photograph of a fine the team had sent Brown for failing to attend team activities.
Mayock took exception to the stunt from AB, which triggered a verbal altercation that ended up with the two having to be separated.
The last AB drop follows a long series of threaterics that made Brown’s offseason with the Raiders truly one of the most bizarre in sports history.
Check out the audio below as Colin details why the Raiders need to release Brown as soon as possible and just admit this was a catastrophic mistake to ever bring him in.
