Rob Parker: “Hello Pittsburgh, is this on? Hear me out, WHETHER HE COMES BACK HEALTHY OR NOT, IT’S TIME TO MOVE FROM BIG BEN. ENOUGH ALREADY! THE CLOCK IS TICKING AND HE’S RUN OUT OF TIME! THIS ORGANIZATION IS GOING THE OTHER WAY! HAVE YOU WATCHED BIG BEN?? YOU TALK ABOUT FALLING OFF A CLIFF. LOOK AT THIS AS A BLESSING, THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON! CUT BAIT AND TAKE MIKE TOMLIN WITH YOU.” (Full Rant in Audio Below)
Listen to Rob Parker explain why he believes the Pittsburgh Steelers need to part ways with two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger just a day after the 37-year-old suffered a season-ending elbow injury.
The six-time Pro Bowl winner is coming off a 2018 season in which he led the league in passing yards, completions, and attempts, but was set to begin a new offensive era in Pittsburgh without All-Pro position players Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell.
Parker says this is the right opportunity to take the injury as a blessing in disguise as an legitimate excuse to part ways with the future Hall of Fame quarterback, no matter what happens with his rehab.
Big Ben released a statement on Monday saying he plans to finish out his contract with the team and has no plans to retire.
Check out the rant below as Parker says it’s time to cut ties with not only Roethlisberger, but head coach Mike Tomlin as well, who has been the Steelers head coach since 2007.
