Dak Prescott is Simply an Average Quarterback

Dallas Cowboys v New Orleans Saints
Doug Gottlieb: “Dak Prescott is a dude who has six 300-yard passing games in his CAREER, let that soak in for a second. Three hundred yards passing is not even a great game for a quarterback anymore, it’s more like 400 yards. He’s also had 16 games in his career under 200 yards passing. That’s some 1970’s football. The Cowboys don’t win because of him, and they also don’t win in spite of him. They have to run the football to be successful… When the offensive line doesn’t give him time to go through his progressions he’s an average quarterback at best.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Doug Gottlieb explain why he he’s never been on the Dak Prescott bandwagon, especially after the Cowboys sprinted out to a 3-0 record against the Redskins, Giants (with Eli Manning starting) and the Dolphins.

Prescott is one of the most polarizing players in the league with many media members and fans alike around the sport constantly debating the true value Prescott adds on the football field leading arguably the NFL’s best team on paper, with arguably the best running back and offensive line in football.

Check out the audio below as Gottlieb says he thinks Dak is an ‘average’ quarterback and says people who feel that way shouldn’t be called a ‘hater.’
