The 25-year-old coming off a decently productive season of 24 touchdowns and 3,223 yards passing has greatly regressed in 2019, averaging just 167.8 yards through the air, and has the 29th ranked QBR in the NFL.
Despite the Bears having one of the most talented defenses of the decade, the offense ranks third to last in yards per game and the offense has only accounted for 10 touchdowns in 6 games.
Currently in 9th place in a loaded NFC, not to mention fighting it out with Detroit for last place in the juggernaut North division with the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers, the playoffs are starting to look farther and farther away for a Bears team who has underachieved.
