Colin Cowherd: “I don’t trust Minnesota whatsoever, not a bit. Kirk Cousins has a lot in common with scary movies. If you watch the Exorcist or The Shining at night and it’s rainy, and you’re in a room all by yourself, it’s terrifying and you can’t sleep at night. But if you watched The Shining the next day at 1 in the afternoon with the blinds open and the lights on with two friends it’s actually funny. That is Kirk Cousins. One o’clock, at home, vs. non-playoff teams, boy he is unbelievable. But you play him against a good playoff team, and you play a real pass rush it’s ‘HEEEEEERRRREEE'SSS KIRKKKK.’ They just beat awful Washington 19-9, who was banged up with a backup quarterback, who just fired their coach. This team has a great roster, but it’s the same Minnesota team people have been telling me has had a great roster for 3-4 years. Find me Minnesota’s great win with Kirk Cousins. This team is too environment- based. Last year they were 1-6 against playoff teams and this year they have 0 wins against teams over .500.” (Full Video Above)
Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the streaking Minnesota Vikings are fake NFC juggernauts, who he stopped believing in when they routinely kept losing big games the last several years with Kirk Cousins.
The Vikings are one the league’s hottest teams, having won 4 consecutive games, but the four wins came over the Giants, Eagles, Lions, and Redskins, four teetering and dysfunctional teams who are under .500 at the moment.
Colin compares Kirk Cousins to a scary movie. At night the movie might be terrifying, as might Cousins versus a bad defense in a low-pressure game might be too, but during the day both the movie and Cousins become almost laughably unimposing.
