Colin Cowherd Apologizes For Saying Browns Would Pass Ravens in AFC North

Colin Cowherd: “I said on the air last Friday that Cleveland would be in first place and Baltimore would be in second place by the end of the season… It’s embarrassing and I’m apologizing. It’s my worst football take ever. I forgot two very important things: John Harbaugh is excellent & Freddie Kitchens is a busboy at Applebees, and I forgot that Lamar Jackson is coachable, hardworking, quiet, getting better and has changed his body, and Cleveland’s quarterback is loud, cocky, and thinks that is leadership. I forgot that Baltimore is a step-up organization with two Super Bowls, a franchise that wins big games, and never has been intimidated by New England and I forgot that chapter 1 of Cleveland’s history is Chapter 1: ‘We’re imploding’ and Chapters 2-19 is ‘Read Chapter 1’. If I was a stockbroker I would have told you Friday to buy Bitcoin over Starbucks, Blockbuster over Apple, and Enron over IBM.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd apologize for running a segment last Friday (November 1) that was predicting that the Cleveland Browns would overtake the Baltimore Ravens in the second half of the season to win the AFC North Division.

Colin was looking at the remaining schedules of both teams and was already penciling in a Browns blowout of Cleveland and a Ravens exposure by the Patriots.

Well, after an extremely revealing and somewhat shocking duo of games on Sunday, and suddenly the Ravens are a legitimate Super Bowl contender, and the Browns might be the worst team in the league.

Check out the video above as Colin says this was the worst football take of his career.
