Todd McShay: "Joe Burrow Makes the Game Slow Down"

Listen to ESPN Draft insider Todd McShay join The Rich Eisen Show to explain why he believes LSU Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Joe Burrow will be the no. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, in a Draft that really shouldn’t offer any debate whatsoever in terms of who the Cincinnati Bengals will take with the first pick.

Burrow just posted one of the greatest college seasons ever, and has a chance to pass former Hawaii great Colt Brennan for the most touchdowns passes thrown in a season in the history of college football (Brennan only played in 14 games to Burrow’s 15).

McShay says it took him a little bit to come around to the former Ohio State Buckeye who wasn’t really on the minds of many NFL scouts and GM’s after a 2018 season at LSU when he only threw for 2,894 yards and 16 touchdowns for a Tigers passing game that largely was non-existent at times.

Check out the video above as McShay details the biggest strengths of Burrow’s game, and also any weaknesses that might come up during the Draft process, in a cutthroat couple months that has teams digging for any doubt they can put into the minds of other teams picking ahead of them.
