Graphic Video Shows Joel Embiid Leaving Court With Badly Dislocated Finger

Philadelphia 76ers All-Star center Joel Embiid badly dislocated his left ring finger in the first quarter of Monday night’s game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Embiid left the court immediately, grasping and favoring his left hand as several other Sixers players looked on in horror and repulsion by the mangled finger that was bent backwards.

Embiid went right to the locker room to receiver an X-ray, but shockingly came back out onto the floor for the start of the second quarter.

After the game Embiid told reporters:

"I felt my finger snapping and I thought I fractured it. They did some X-rays and said it was nothing... It was pretty bad. Was basically playing with one hand. In the midst of the streak, I just wanted to make sure I do everything possible to get us a win."

Check out the video above, as well as the reactions from the rest of the Sixers players below.

Embiid would finish with 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists, in 33 minutes, on just 7 of 17 shooting, but the Sixers snapped their four game losing streak against the red hot Thunder who are the NBA's most surprising team with a record of 20-16.
