On today’s edition of Straight Outta Vegas, RJ Bell says Matt Rhule is a slam dunk hire for Panthers. RJ crunches the numbers and says the Panthers owner David Tepper is a hedge fund guy and is willing to do whatever it takes to be successful. Plus, RJ says the amount Rhule is getting paid is irrelevant, citing even though he’s getting paid more than your average coach, you get what you pay for and it doesn’t impact your salary cap significantly. RJ also says when you know what you want like Tepper does, it seems like a no brainer to go after it.
