Chris Broussard: "The System is Tom Brady!"

On today’s edition of The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker discuss NFL analyst Bucky Brooks calling Patriots QB Tom Brady a system QB on FS1’s Speak for Yourself yesterday. Chris says Bucky is ridiculous for saying Brady is a system quarterback! Chris also says that he understands Brady has had Belichick leading the way, but before Brady, Belichick only made the playoffs 1 time in 7 years. Plus, Chris discusses when Belichick had Bledsoe in the system, the Patriots went 5-13 before Brady took over to go 11-3 and win the Super Bowl, ultimately resulting in Tom Brady being the system. Chris also discusses system quarterbacks being game managers that don’t have great statistics, but Brady is anything but that; citing multiple stats, including Brady leading the NFL in passing yards 3 times – which is the same amount of years Peyton Manning did, and something Aaron Rodgers has never done. Rob says Brady is the most accomplished, and admits that he is the second best quarterback of all-time.
