In perhaps the most irrelevantly magnificent achievement in the history of mankind, BYU cheerleaders and the team’s mascot ‘Cosmo the Cougar’ performed one of the most stunning on-court maneuvers you’ll ever see.
Five male cheerleaders boosted Cosmo up from beyond the three-point line, and proceeded to launch him upwards towards the basket as Cosmo explosively sprung up from their liftoff.
What you then see is an unparalleled and slightly uncanny flight path that has Cosmo literally flying across the sky almost 14 feet in the air and slam the ball down through the basket.
The video became viral on Monday morning, with many people asking if the video was fake or if the mascot was wearing some sort of harness.
BYU student Eric Watson posted the video to Twitter in real time, and it appears to be fully authentic.
