Colin Cowherd: LeBron James is the NBA's MVP, NOT Giannis Antetokounmpo

Colin Cowherd: “The Bucks are 5-1 this year without Giannis, the Lakers are UNWATCHABLE when LeBron is off the floor… last night LeBron on the floor was +22; he takes a break and they’re -14. The Clippers just added a fourth player to defend LeBron, and the Celtics, even though they will face Giannis, have decided to go small-ball… LEBRON is your MVP.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James should win the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award over the incumbent Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is once again the betting favorite with just a month to go in the regular season.

Despite the Bucks posting the league’s best record, and cumulating the highest point differential in league history through 60 games, Colin says LeBron’s standing on the team is more ‘valuable’ than Giannis’, as Colin thinks the Bucks are still a playoff team without Giannis, while the Lakers are a ‘mess’ without LBJ according to Colin.

LeBron is leading the league in assists with 10.6 a game, and is 11th in the NBA in scoring at 25.5 a game, while shooting .496 from the field.

Check out the video above as Colin says voters need to stop focusing on the ‘story’ around Giannis, and stop overlooking the league’s best player, LeBron.
