Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he doesn’t think the Milwaukee Bucks are a championship team, a night after being eviscerated by the Heat in Miami.
Despite holding the best record in the NBA at 52-9, and posting one of the best point-differentials in league history through 61 games, Colin has already gone on record picking the Boston Celtics to beat the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Colin says he has no faith picking the Bucks to win it all when he sees Milwaukee shooting guard Khris Middleton as the ‘number two’ to MVP front-runner Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Middleton has made the All-Star team that last two seasons, and is currently averaging a career high in points at 20.9 [per game (.503 shooting percentage), but Colin doesn’t see Middleton as a legitimate ‘second star’, and definitely not on the same level as second stars the likes of Paul George to Kawhi Leonard on the Clippers, and Anthony Davis to LeBron James on the Lakers.
Check out the video above as Colin details why the Bucks are not a championship team, and explains why he believes the most common characteristic of Finals teams has always been the STARPOWER they can boast, especially the right-hand man to the main playmaker.
