Clay Travis is reacting to some positive news from the sports world as it pertains to the Coronavirus. More leagues are beginning to prepare for a comeback, most notably the UFC and the PGA Tour, and this is great news for sports fans.
Clay believes, however, that there are some states that are handling this potential comeback the right way, and there are some that are not. Clay has high praise for the state of Florida and their Governor Ron DeSantis. Governor DeSantis in a press conference on Tuesday, opened up the state of Florida to professional sports leagues to do business in his state. Clay loves this move from the Florida Governor and believes that this will be a huge step in life returning to some sort of normalcy.
On the other side of the coin, Clay lays into the state of California and their Governor Gavin Newsom and some of his comments that he has made recently regarding the state of California and their potential return to sports. Clay argues that if states like California are not willing to do business with pro sports teams in their state, then those teams will, and should, consider leaving for a different state temporarily so they don't have to miss a season of action.
