Jay Glazer Says NFL Teams Aren't as High on Jordan Love as the Media Is

Colin Cowherd: “What if I said to you ‘Jordan Love goes late in the first round’?”
Jay Glazer: “So here is the thing with Jordan Love. At the Combine his agent did a great job of getting every insider I saw talking about ‘oh my gosh, this guy is going all the way up to the top 10!’ and ‘He could be the second or third quarterback taken!’ Oh man… This is a REALLY good job by his people on his part. Jordan Love had an awful lot of interceptions and got popped before a bowl game, and makes people go ‘What is this cat thinking??’ I’m not as high on Jordan Love as the rest of the world ‘seemed’ to be. But just all the teams I talked to? I don’t make my draft judgements off anything I watch because I know I’m not as smart as guys who do this every day of their lives. I’m smart enough to know that the guy sitting there stuck in his basement watching film is the guy I’m going to make my board based off him. But I also talk to 100 other people that do exactly what he’s doing, and THEN try to get my consensus on where my board is going to go… The personnel directors, GMs, and coaches is where I’m getting all these feelings of Jordan Love from.” (Full Interview Above)

Listen to Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer explain to Colin Cowherd why he doesn’t believe GMs, scouts, and executives around the league are as high on Utah State quarterback Jordan Love as much as the mainstream media is in regards to his glowing draft stock.

Check out the interview above as Jay details to Colin why perhaps the Draft’s biggest enigma hasn’t been very high on big boards, despite the many football pundits boasting about Love’s arm talent and potential.
