With the coronavirus pandemic putting the entire sports world on the backburner, ESPN’s ‘The Last Dance’ documentary was one of the most highly anticipated documentary series in recent memory.

The 10-part series spanning five consecutive Sundays will chronicle Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls teams, most notably the 1997-1998 season, which was the final year of their dynasty and the last time Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman would ever wear a Bulls uniform.

The NBA community has been all over the coverage, with the documentary essentially taking the place of playoff basketball.

Some of the league’s biggest stars have spoke of the documentary on Twitter, with even the youngest of players tipping their caps to Jordan’s greatness.

Hawks superstar Trae Young tweeted before the first episode:

"I feel like this documentary gonna make me put MJ #1, instead of #2... Can’t Wait!!! #LastDance"

Future Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade tweeted:

“If I had 3 wishes in life. I think I would have asked for #TheLastDance”

Five-time All-Star Damian Lillard was loving the documentary as well, tweeting during the telecast:

“#TheLastDance ... Mike really was different different” and later Live tweeting “Mike from another planet lol... #TheLastDance ... Pip slept on like a mf too smh”
