Ex-NFL QB Jay Cutler and Reality TV Star Kristin Cavallari Are Divorcing

Michigan Avenue Magazine's Fall Fashion Issue Celebration With Kristin Cavallari

After 10 years together and 7 years of marriage, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are calling it quits and have announced they are divorcing.

In a message posted to both of their social media accounts, their statement reads:

"With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family."

Cavallari, who has her own reality show on E! Very Cavallari, and Cutler share three children together, Camden Jack (7), Jaxon Wyatt (5) and Saylor James (4).

Kristin and Jay tied the knot in 2013, and before getting married, the couple broke off their engagement in 2011 before reconciling soon afterwards. And on her reality show, Cavallari has opened up many times about her marriage to the football star.

In fact, during one episode of her show, the Laguna Beach alum said of her relationship with Cutler, "Jay has been great, yes. From the outside, things are so perfect and things are so great. But actually, they're not. And that sucks. It sucks. That's the thing, though, with marriage... it's ups and downs."

She added, "But in two months we could be up here again. That's how we've always been, our whole relationship. It is what it is."

Kristin also revealed, "There's no such thing as a perfect relationship. Jay and I have problems. I've always been very vocal about that," adding, "We have to work at our relationship, so hearing him say that we're perfect is kind of silly to me. We definitely have issues."
