NFL Quarterbacks Who Have the Most At Stake in 2020

Colin Cowherd: “There are three quarterbacks in the NFL who are going to be the next Andy Dalton, Marcus Mariota, and Jameis Winston if they don’t win, and those three are Mitch Trubisky, Derek Carr, and Baker Mayfield… Stop with Sam Darnold, he went 7-6 last year with mono and no help. Baker Mayfield never got mono, had tons of pieces, and went 6-10. Darnold going 7-6 with that mess is remarkable. Average won’t do and there’s just too damn much money in this business. I think Trubisky gets replaced before Thanksgiving, Derek Carr gets replaced after Thanksgiving, and Baker Mayfield will be given the year, but they will move off him quickly if he doesn’t win at least 9 games or throws 18-20 picks. It’s just not what it used to be. Cam Newton can’t even get a job, and Josh Rosen was given only about six starts. There’s too much money. You can’t be average anymore or you’re hemorrhaging tens of millions per year. And secondly, college football is furnishing the NFL with like four starters every year.” (Full Video Above)
