With His On-Court Play, Michael Jordan Spoke to the Entire Human Race

Clay Travis is reacting to the latest two episodes of "The Last Dance." Clay believes that the most fascinating and important aspect of last night's episodes were when Michael Jordan spoke about his famous comment, "Republicans buy sneakers too."

Clay argues that Michael Jordan was an athlete that spoke to every single sports fan in the world, regardless of race, gender and background. Clay says that Jordan came from the "Cosby era." Instead of activism in the footsteps of Muhammad Ali, fighting for justice and equality, the Cosby Show parents were equals as a doctor and as a lawyer, as well as black culture being mixed into the show.

Michael Jordan, in a similar way, was able to speak to all races and cultures, as he found respect from everyone, by being the greatest athlete and basketball player in the world. MJ says he explained to his mom that he didn't want to speak publicly about politicians he didn't know personally, but quietly would make a donation to Harvey Gantt's North Carolina campaign, as was disclosed in "The Last Dance."
