Jordan Love Is A Great Insurance Plan For Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers opened up about his thoughts on the Packers' decision to draft a backup quarterback in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft and let it be known that he wasn't "thrilled" with the pick. Doug Gottlieb, however, feels that Jordan Love will turn out to be a great insurance plan for Green Bay.

"If Aaron Rodgers starts to age you will have a younger guy who can learn under him. If Aaron Rodgers is great, you'll be able to get a first round pick for a quarterback who is talented and trained (under Rodgers). He's played hurt, he's come back early and he's the most talented player to ever play the quarterback position. I find myself liking Rodgers even more because he doesn't tell you what he wants to hear...he tells you what the truth is."
