Reggie Bush: "To say that I don't want it back, would be a lie. 100% I want my Heisman back.. But, at the same time, I'm more focused on the (USC) kids now. What happened to me is in the past. Listen to former college football superstar and Super Bowl champion Reggie Bush join The Herd to discuss his official reinstatement to the University of Southern California, after more than a decade of banishment because of antiquated NCAA violations.
Bush was one of the greatest running backs in college football history, winning the Heisman trophy and helping USC to one of the most dominant three-year runs in the sport’s history, but was exiled from the program for his role in the USC athletics scandal of the mid-2000's that resulted in some of the harshest penalties ever dished out by the NCAA.
Despite Southern Cal whitewashing Bush’s entire legacy with the school for 10+ years, Bush says USC will always hold a special place in his heart and he'll never look back at his career at the school in a bad light.
Check out the video above as Bush details why he wants his Heisman Trophy back as well, which was stripped from him after it was revealed he was on the receiving end of improper benefits while a football star for the Trojans.
