Pete Carroll is Out of Excuses For Not Signing Kaepernick

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll expressed regret for not signing Colin Kaepernick as a backup Quarterback in 2017. If he's sincere in his belief that Kaep deserved better than a backup position back then, The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker say that excuse is now out the window. Kaepernick has been removed from the game for more than 3 years and nobody in the NFL would expect him to step into a starting position right away. Following Roger Goodell's apology for how the league handled previous protests, bringing Kaep into Seattle as a backup now could help make amends and Kaepernick would be a perfect insurance policy for Russell Wilson, on top of Geno Smith and their rookie, Anthony Gordon.
