Clay Travis is joined by Florida Senator Marco Rubio on Thursday's program to talk about a number of sports related topics. Rubio is a big Dolphins fan, so naturally Clay asked Senator Rubio about his excitement level and expectations for newly drafted quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
With the Coronavirus still a massive story, especially in the world of sports, Clay asks Senator Rubio if he would be comfortable going to a football game with his family.
Senator Rubio explains the new Florida bill that deals with name, image and likeness in his state. This new bill would allow collegiate athletes to be able to profit off of their own names, something that has not been allowed by the NCAA. Rubio lays out the bill in some detail, and says it's imperative for a uniform guideline to be established, preferably by the NCAA, so that all 50 states could go by the same rules.
Clay also asks Senator Rubio his thoughts on a potential return to the NFL for Colin Kaepernick, and Rubio has some interesting comments about Kaepernick.
