The NFL cut its preseason down to two games for now but Jason Smith and Mike Harmon believe the league will eventually realize there's no sense in playing meaningless games which could see COVID-19 spread and put the season in jeopardy. It's harder for the NFL to stop the season after it's started than it will be before the season starts, which you can do much easier.
The only reason NFL and College Football seasons are 'up in the air' is because of their own pride in wanting to stick to the schedule they've always had. Football can start in October, November or December and we can still have the same seasons we normally do.
Jason and Mike predict in a couple of weeks, the preseason will be cancelled. The NFL isn't going to risk the regular season playing two weeks of games that don't count.
