The story of the day in the world of sports involves Major League Baseball, and the Miami Marlins situation regarding a Coronavirus outbreak within their club. There were over a dozen members of the Marlins organization that tested positive for COVID-19, and their game yesterday, as well as today were postponed as a result.
Clay Travis believes that the responses that he saw to this story from members of the media were full of emotion, and not rooted in facts and data. There were numerous media personalities and reporters who responded to this story with panic and fear, claiming the worst for the remainder of the baseball season, and many of those people ripped MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred for his response, where he said that this situation is not a "nightmare situation."
Clay says the media needs to look at all of the numbers, rather than focus on & share only the negative stories, he brings in the Outkick crew to discuss. Are there really people in the sports media who are rooting against sports happening?
