Top 10 Most Annoying Great Athletes and Teams in Sports History

Top 10 Most ‘Annoying' Great Athletes and Teams in Sports History according to Doug Gottlieb:

10. Kevin Durant

“Before he got hurt, I think Kevin Durant was the best player in the NBA. He’s one of those dudes who is a great basketball player, and I think he’s actually a really good and thoughtful guy, but the social media thing and the alter-ego? Maybe that’s who he really is, but it’s just a lot.”

9. Derek Jeter

“You don't get any better than 5 for 5 in his last game at the stadium, hits a home run for his 3,000th hit, and his flair for the dramatic, but there was a way in which he played – ball right down the middle he doesn’t wanna swing so he sticks hid butt out – c’mon dude that’s not even close. Some of it wasn’t his doing, like the Gold Gloves he didn’t deserve, but I don’t know sometimes Derek Jeter wore me out.”

8. Floyd Mayweather

“There’s no denying how great Floyd Mayweather is. I don’t think he’s the greatest boxer of all time – I mean, he’s brilliant and waited for three years until everyone wanted to see him fight Manny Pacquiao, when Manny was not only injured but past his prime. He fought Conor McGregor who had never fought a boxing match before and made crazy money. I’m not saying he’s not smart and he’s not great, but he’s NOT the greatest of all time and he’s just annoying. Then you pay all that money to see a fight and with exception to the McGregor fight where he let McGregor wear himself out, he gets ahead and then just stays away. While his defense is awesome, I want to see his offense.”
