Joe Burrow Already Looks Better Than Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold

Cincinnati Bengals opened their season to face the talent stacked LA Chargers and find out whether they got it right in the NFL Draft by allowing newly acquired quarterback, Joe Burrow, to lead this team to the best of his ability. He scored a touchdown rushing for 23 yards in a solid display of athleticism and managed to come close to getting overtime on the Chargers had their kicker been successful in making a field goal after an impressive drive in the final moments of the game.

After one game, where does Joe Burrow stack up among his peers? Colin Cowherd concludes that Joe Burrow had a solid debut and has the makings of a franchise quarterback. Cowherd makes the point that he looks the part in that his body seems visibly strong. Colin also says Burrow's athleticism is on par, with today's game, and he can decently throw the football. Cowherd feels vindicated in his evaluation of Burrow saying he's comparable to Tony Romo, but also already looks better than Andy Dalton, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, and Josh Allen.
