Chris Broussard: Packers and Mike McCarthy Wasted Aaron Rodgers' Career

Chris Broussard: Packers Wasted Aaron Rodgers' Career With Mike McCarthy
Chris Broussard: “Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best to ever sling it around…If he keeps this up and plays like this for the bulk of the year and maybe wins MVP and a Super Bowl? I think they wasted a decade of his career with Mike McCarthy. Not just McCarthy, but not giving him the defense they should have had, and even some of the weapons and running game he should have had. He not only has only one Super Bowl, but he has only one APPEARANCE. I’m looking at McCarthy in Dallas, and the offense is very good –I’m not going to overstep it, but the defense is atrocious. It’s good for Rodgers if he can win ‘em with LaFleur, but it will also make you look – especially if McCarthy keeps this up in Dallas, and say ‘Dude, how many more should he have won??’” (Full Audio Above)

Listen to Chris Broussard explain why he thinks it’s becoming increasingly evident that the Packers ‘wasted’ a decade of Aaron Rodgers’ best years during the Mike McCarthy era.

Check out the segment above as Broussard details why Green Bay’s torrid start under second-year head coach Matt LaFleur, coupled with Dallas’ disastrous first month with McCarthy is making him wonder what could have been for Rodgers if he had had a better coach than McCarthy for the first 10 years of his career.
