Clay Travis and Joel Klatt React to the Shoe Heard Around the World

The college football season is nearing its end, and this past Saturday provided us with some crazy drama. Florida was more than a 3 touchdown favorite against LSU, and they lost on a 57 yard field goal at the end of regulation.

Clay Travis is joined by Joel Klatt to talk about this wild finish. The long field goal going through the foggy air was crazy, but how LSU got in position to get in field goal range is the story of the college football weekend.

One of Florida's defensive players grabbed a shoe of a LSU player, and tossed it in celebration. This led to a costly penalty which set up LSU. This was one of the costliest mistakes in recent memory, and certainly a very stupid choice to make.

Clay and Joel talk also talk about Florida coach Dan Mullen's comments after the game, where Mullen had an incredible spin zone. Joel believes that Mullen not speaking strongly about the penalty says a lot about his style of coaching. He also questions whether Mullen has that extra gear that coaches like Nick Saban and Urban Meyer have displayed.
