Athletes Voice Love and Support For Tiger Woods After Scary Car Accident

(Tweets Below) News of Tiger Woods’ single-car rollover accident quickly went viral on Tuesday, as the Los Angeles County Police Department announced to the media that Woods had been involved in a crash serious enough that the ‘jaws of life’ had to be used to free Woods from the mangled wreckage.

Woods was reportedly the only passenger in the car, and initial reports allege that the injuries are not 'life threatening’, and that Woods may have suffered fractures to both of his legs.

His agent Mark Steinberg made a statement to the media saying Woods was currently in surgery. He was reportedly transported to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center by ambulance to be treated for “moderate to critical” injuries suffered in the crash, the Los Angeles County Fire Department told CNN.

Support for Woods began to roll in on Tuesday afternoon, with many getting awful memories of last year’s news of Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crash that seemed to be a bad omen on how the year 2020 was going to go.

The 45-year-old was in town for the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles and had just been seen in videos with former NBA star Dwyane Wade the day before.
