Clay Travis is joined on this Tuesday morning by newly crowned National Champion Scott Drew of Baylor. Drew's Baylor Bears dominated in their Final Four run and played spoiler to many brackets as they blew out previously undefeated Gonzaga in the National Title game.
Clay asks Drew to go back in time and detail the struggles of taking over a program that had just gone through a major scandal, and how difficult those first few years were with limited scholarships to give. Coach Drew talks about the walk-on tryouts that they had to hold just to have a full roster.
The two discuss Baylor's major success in recent years as well, and where they rank in terms of wins among the best of the best in the nation. Clay also asks Scott Drew what advice he would give to himself if he could go back almost 20 years ago.
Drew has done a remarkable job during his time at Baylor, to go from where he and his program were in 2003, to a National Championship this year, is an all-time accomplishment.
