Clay Travis loves what he saw from the world of sports this weekend. There were large crowds of fans everywhere you looked. Canelo Alvarez won his fight against Billy Joe Saunders in front of over 70,000 fans in Texas. The Braves and Phillies played in an exciting series with a sold-out crowd in Atlanta. Plus, Rory McIlroy snapped his 18-month winless drought in front of a wild scene on the 18th green at Quail Hollow in Charlotte.
Sports felt completely normal this weekend. It was a huge steppingstone, and Clay believes that this is just the beginning. All the major sporting events on TV showed crowds packed into arenas, ball parks, and the golf course. Thanks to this normalcy, Clay says that this past weekend felt very liberating.
