Jason Smith: "This is the Bucs saying they want to win the Super Bowl again. They're not going to let COVID get in their way, they're going to do all they can to defeat it. No matter whether you are pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine, this is the Bucs saying 'we know what we want to accomplish, and nobody is getting in anybody's way, we are all together on this. That's why we are all 100% vaccinated, we are ready to go get this Super Bowl now.' Are they going to have to worry about things that other contenders may have to worry about? No, they're all good. So it's these two things, one, Tom Brady got the vaccine. Do you really think it's that bad if Tom Brady put something in his body? And two, the fact that they're ready to say 'we don't care, we are going to defeat COVID because we want to win the Super Bowl. We are all working towards this goal together, we are on the same page.' This is what the NFL really needs to pay attention to, and anyone else who doesn't want to get the vaccine has to understand that these are the stakes for this year in the NFL."

Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the news of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being 100% vaccinated against COVID-19. Jason breaks down why it is incredibly significant that Tom Brady, in particular, is now vaccinated, as no one in sports is more diligent and knowledgeable when it comes to putting substances in their bodies than Brady, hopefully giving those hesitant to get vaccinated yet another reason to consider vaccination. The guys explain why this is another example of the Buccaneers being fully committed to repeating as champions this season, as they collectively committed to accepting the stakes that come with competing during the pandemic.
